I don´t know what is MI2 or RR 2L, but I can tell you that in RR nítidos the vertical distance between suns are not always the samem sometimes longer than the standard 25mm.

José,

I measure the vertical distance between the alternate rows of Suns and that is 35mm for both RR 1 and RR 2! Whereas most other watermarks measure 30mm or 32mm [MI 2 = Austriaco].

I don´t take into account center to center distance because that distance can remain the same but the diwameters of the sun can vary.

José,

in that case you refer to the varying diameter as well!

The earlier plate(s) of the 25c do not have so many striking characteristics!

I will try to describe them based on a sheet of 10x10 with the ministerial M.J.I....

What we have seen earlier in the 10c Rivadavia [in typography though] is that there were TWO root blocks of 5x1! Not as we assumed ONE root block of 5x2.

A similar thing we see in the early 25c! TWO root blocks of 5x1 with very tiny dots as characteristics but spread over the 10x10 sheet rather unexepctedly.

The counter-sheet of 10x10 can be divided into two parts:

the left half of 5x10 stamps (L) and the right half (R). Each half has 10 root-blocks of 5x1! But which???

Root block no 1 is to be found as follows:

L1, L3, L6, L7 and L9; R1, R2, R3, R5, R7 and R9 [L1 is row 1 of the left half; R7 is row 7 of the right half]

Root block no 2 is to be found as follows:

L2, L4, L5, L8 and L10; R4, R6, R8 and R10
