Este sello es muy raro. Esta impreso sobre el papel 1L6.

Tony,
This stamp - wiithout the S.O. - is mentioned in Bardi's Survey as "Zarate granulado vertical" national paper with "m" which is correct: the watermark is orthogonal, the paper wire is horizontal. Bardi also adds that the watermark is transposed "filigrana traspuesta - FT".
I have 2 S.O. stamps that due to the obvious rhomboic structure was placed in my stockbook near my very earliest 40c stamps. But just now I looked again at the watermark as saw that is was orthogonal and not parallel., A quick look at Bardi's survey gave the answer: national paper.
It is a pity that Bardi did not give a survey of the Ministerials nor the S.O.! How are we to know what exists?
As to the FT aspect! The front has very flat surface thast would contradict the transposed aspect! My copies are mint so I can not really tell whether the back surface is as flat as the unwatermarked stamps.
Most unwatermarked PyR I stamps are transposed! Bardi does not mention that!
Whatever criticism is aired here by me, I think Bardi's survey is some 96% close to reality and it is a great pity he didn't have the necessary pictures/images included. As it is now the survey is only readable/understandble for someone who has got more or less so far on his own.....
