Thus it looks like a gradual process in which the print may be good at first, but deteriorate later - yielding to more and more white fibres!!!In the offset printing of newsprint, linting is described as the tendency of paper to shed loosely bound fibres and fines during printing.[1] This material subsequently adheres to the offset printing blanket and disrupts the transfer of ink from the inking system to the blanket. The result is a deterioration of print quality to the point where the press must be stopped and cleaned.[2]
The other problem we dealt with during recent discussions was the origin of the so-called "double print".
And the third problem - not much discussed here - is the spread of fine coloured dots all over the stamp!

We may wonder why in the above cases of linting plus "double prints" the white fibres had NOT been DOUBLED! In my opnion we are NOT dealing really with a double print but with INK DRAG !

Podemos preguntarnos por qué en los casos anteriores de pelusas y más "imprime a doble" de las fibras blancas no había sido duplicado! En mi opnion no estamos tratando realmente con una impresión doble, pero con ARRASTRE DE TINTA!
