Some information gets easily hided!
I reported some of this last year in June under the title "Floating Values"

There is another aspect that some of you may have already seen!
Most stamps displayed have a bluish dot halfway up the left part of the "O"!
Not all stamps have it, but this may be in a way comparable to the guiding dots in the recess-printed stamps of the 19th century (Compañia Sud-Americana de Billetes de Banco, Buenos Ayres). The value itself is floating and most likely had to be affixed inside the common design of the JSM stamps, one or two guiding dots must have facilitated this!
The 20c stamp is by far not the only value having such dots! The 2c has 2 or 3 dots, the 10c one, etc.....
Some of the 2c had the "slash"!

The floating value is most obvious in the 20c!
Apart from the "slash" I found another characteristic in the area around the value tablet that occurs in more than one value! In the 20c I could locate it in column 4 / row 5 of the root block of 5x5 !! So it is part of the root block and maybe the "slash" is in column 5 / row 3 [it is very faint in my right half sheet of 10x10 of the 20c!]
What does this all point at? A COMMON root block of 5x5 for ALL values [except 25c?] in which the "values" were mounted in a separate reproduction stage... I wonder whether José Merlo has ever seen a philatelic study paying attention to this???

So far, we have seen the "slash " in the Sin Punto serie for the: 1c, 2c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 10c, 12c, 20c and 24c. No 1/2c, 25c , 30c or 50c yet ....
Another characteristic which I discovered much later was the "double slash":
