is the only stamp mentioned so far by Gz...

There is NO overprint! The base stamp does NOT exist! We have a two coloured stamp in photogravure here, printed on this horrible type of paper which destroys any excellence the stamp might have been able to get !

The d-version may be of a somewhat later date!

It will be interesting to see the time the d-version at all! So far no dates - any of the involved stamps after 1978! Which almost excludes the "Historical Buildings"!!

To get a more or less complete survey of the small sized Guillermo Brown we already have MORE than Solari in his "Parecen iguales son diferentes" [they look the same but are different!]

Solari does not recognize the paper structure and he does not distinguish the chipswood coating from the more or less smooth coatings! He just has an accidental "neutro" [15p] to offer!

Solari mentions several colours for the 50c! As far as I know we have just one type of paper - chipswood!

The ink has spread quite regularly all over the grey background and it is not normal to see the screen points! The text is in green and you can see green ink in the grey background as a result of not using the doctor blade properly!






How it looks normally - dark grey + green:





With a lot less ink:





Less ink and probably under influence of chemicals:





There is no GREY GREEN or bistre! Just shades of grey with a tinge of green due to a defective doctor blade?!

The screen gauge for the grey colour is 70 dots/cm for all 3 stamps! Although the first gives the false impression of having a finer screen! The dots seem to have fallen into pieces, whereas of the stamp in the middle the dots are solid!
