All three 20rp stamps have been printed on the Goebel reel-fed press and with direction of printing L [ink flowing towards the left]!

But unlike the 30rp on paper from the Sihl paper mill with a gum breaking pattern and also the coloured fibers are relatively short and thin.

All three 5rp stamps have been printed on the Goebel reel-fed press and with direction of printing L [ink flowing towards the left]!

But just as the 20rp on paper from the Sihl paper mill with a gum breaking pattern and also the coloured fibers are relatively short and thinner.

Zunstein mentions something special for the 10rp in counter sheets in the German version!
"Druckvermerk endet hinter dem V von Helvetia" ; "Typen: Znr. 229y + 229 By" ; "ZNr. 239y: Courvoisier SA, la Chaux-de-Fonds"
However, this goes for all three 10rp versions in counter sheets!

All THREE stamps have been printed by Courvoisier SA, all THREE stamps have the imprint ending just behind the "V" of "Helvetia"!

What is really different for the German 10rp is the OTHER paper manufacturer! Biberist.

Rein,
Are you sure it is a result of broken gum? I rather think it is an excess of ink. You can see it in our 50p Cabildo stamp (the yellow frame on coated paper).

José,

the broken gum patterns have nothing to do with the direction of printing! Did I suggest something like that?????
