We have had a pretty advanced study of the plate characteristics so far, but as far as I know, nobody has come up with the stamps that have the 2 colour plates evidently been used in the wrong order. The back-ground of the 50c Petroleo in yellowish-red is most likely the colour to have been printed first, the darker red is the second colour....

Hemos tenido un estudio muy avanzado de la placa de características hasta ahora, pero hasta donde yo sé, nadie ha subido con los sellos que tienen el 2 láminas en color, evidentemente, ha utilizado en el orden equivocado. Un segundo plano en color amarillo-rojo es más probable que el color se han impreso en primer lugar, el rojo más oscuro es el segundo de color ....

The stamps displayed below show the order of the colours inverted. The paper involved is that of the 1949 [?] with coating!

In this particular case it is quite obvious that the yellow colour got printed last! But had this happened before? And how can we tell??

It is - for Argentinean stamps at least - a new field that no one reallty had thought about it ..... So I will try to come up with good examples of where I think the order of printing is clear!

Es - para los sellos de Argentina, al menos - un nuevo campo que nadie reallty había pensado en eso ..... Así que voy a tratar de llegar a un buen ejemplo de donde creo que el orden de impresión es clara!

Eso hace suponer que fueron pasadas en 2 máquinas distintas???? para optimizar tiempo???

I do not think it is casual! It has been done systematically probably from the very beginning .... Although I have not seen yet such a good example as that of the 50c S.O. on coated paper

Creo que no es casual! Se ha hecho sistemáticamente, probablemente desde el principio el mismo .... A pesar de que todavía no hemos visto un ejemplo tan bueno como el de SO el 50C en papel tizado ..
