1943 P&R I - unknown type of paper! Overlooked for 60 years!

Hardly had I found a long overlooked type of paper -The Wiggins Teape uncoated paper with a parallel watermark and a symmetrical paper mesh with brown fibers all over it!! - or the next type of paper turned up!

How come that during 60 or more years serious philatelists either overlook certain things [types of paper or design] or consider it not worthwhile to tell others about it?????

Is it because of the fact that when the catalogues do not mention a certain thing that the collectors accept this as a "fait accompli"??? The experts haven't seen anything worthwhile so it MUST be not worthwhile????

I know that this is not a typical Argentine mental attitude! All over the world philatelists take the written words for the definitive state of the art!

There is NO FINAL word in philately! What I discover today can be outdated to-morrow!

The so-called Tela paper - also Wiggins Teape paper with the same watermark as before with a higher density [30/20] but now with a coarses density of 24/22 - was introduced in February 1941!

In another thread I started to find out whether in other countries this type of density for manufacturing paper had been used. For New Zealand stamps Tela had been introduced in September 1941! So, more or less in the same period, by the same manufacturer Wiggins Teape!

I found the first brown fibers in commemorative stamps of 1943! Once found, I browsed through all my other Tela stamps! And I found more than I could hope for!

But while the year 1943 could be connected with War conditions, why should we have found brown fibers in the years 1935-1937??

Brown fibers are found so far only in the medium sized commemorative stamps! But we also have some P&R I values:
