In more or less the same period, in Australia a new series of definitives had started..
All of them in recess on a rotary Hoe-press of the Note Printing Branch of the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Watermarked paper coming from the UK - Wiggins Teape - and reminding us of the various types of paper we saw in Argentina stamps!
It started with paper having very distinct rhomboidal indents at the back of the stamp. This means that the dandy-roll has made an impression at the front of the stamp - the felt side of the paper.
