The European Latin American Stamp Collectors Association was founded on March 16, 2013.
We started it with 20 members but we hope to have more enthousiastics soon as hardly any promotion had been made earlier.
Our Main Objectives
- The Internet and our website will play an important if not dominant role. We expect to have the website ready by June 2013
- Twice a year we want to issue a Bulletin.
- Our website should give you access to a philatelic library (similar to the Wikipedia concept!?).
- We like the idea of combining our meetings in person with international Stamp Fairs and Exhibitions. The first opportunity will be the German Stamp Fair in Essen on May 4th. This will coincide with a meeting of the Arge Brasil. Next will be the FNIP Stamp Fair in Antwerp by the end of September 2013. We also think of a meeting during the Stampex in London. Will we be able to manage all this? When the final decision has been made, we will let you know.
- Our website will have several options available to other Associations (and their members) interested in Latin America Philately. This will increase the inter-communication enormously!
