Key and duty plates of the Hindenburg stamps!

Did the Imperial Printing Works (Reichsdruckerei) in Berlin, Germany, use Key and Duty Plates???

How come there is a darker red between the horizontal lines of the Head???

Key and duty plates had certainly been used for the higher values!

And also different plates!

The first two stamps show the black lines change height at the beginning and at the end. The third stamp has a completely different head plate!

How come that at the ends in between the horizontal lines there is a darker [black] piece??? Not because of superfluous black ink coming from the lines above???

all three look different when you study the overlap of the green frame and the black lines and circles!

apart from the overlap between the yellow frame and the black lines and circles, look at the distance between the cypher "1" and the top margin!
