The values of this series were issued 23.10.1940.

All had been printed in photogravure on the newly bought sheet-fed press Mailander. The paper used for this first part of the set was with an orthogonal watermark Sun+AЯ (transposed!) with a symmetrical paper wire and a direction of paper running parallel to the long side of the stamp "M".

The 30c and the 50c had been the stamps most frequently used - at least could be found in various appearances into the early 1950-ies...

In 1942 the printing process was changed into offset-litho! The design had been changed quite a lot - mainly by the use of separate horizontal lines where before the plain background showed the photogravure screen:

Unclear is which paper had been used first for the stamps printed in offset-litho.

Probably the 30c and 50c on coated paper. The watermark is orthogonal, the paper wire is symmetrical, the direction of paper parallel to the long side of the stamp "M".

This type of paper had been used in 1943 for the 4th of June Revolution stamps (all face values, the 5c however also exists on other types of paper).

The coating looks very peculiar as you can often see the pattern of the wire from the front of the stamp!

It is also possible that the 30c had been issued already in 1942 on orthogonal watermark, symmetrical paper wire and a direction of paper running parallel to the long side of the stamp "M":

In 1945 the 30c, 50,c 1p and 2p50 were isssued on paper without watermark! Symmetrical paper wire, direction of paper running parallel to the long side of the stamp "M":

In 1949 the 50c was isssued on paper with an orthogonal watermark with so-called straight rays (R.R. Nitidos)!

In 1951 both the 30c and the 50c were isssued on paper with a parallel watermark so-called Rayado Vertical! Thus, an asymmetrical paper wire, direction of paper running parallel to the long side of the stamp "M".

The 1P25 Correos Aereos of 1940 with 2 green dots that happen to occur in my number of 44 copies 5 times!!! Finding 5 copies out of the 44 in my collection with a chance of 1:100 results (a counter sheet of 10x10 stamps) is a chance of 0,0000000000000000382122597

Rein,

I think there is a mistake, photogravure watermark is "m", not "M"...
