Rein, may this be MI6? I cut something (left and bottom in order to be able to upload it to the foro)

The watermark position is M but to me it looks like orthogonal and symmetrical, but not sure really

this looks indeed like the Wiggins Teape uncoated paper with an orthogonal watermark, asymmetrical paper wire and direction of paper parallel to the small side of the stamp! MI 6 or Mate Importado rayado horizontal! In use since 1951!

It can be confused with the Rayos Rectos Nitidos but that one has a more fluffy surface and the vertical distance between two lines of AЯ that are the same is 35mm instead of 30mm for the MI 6.

Looks like Parallel watermark and asymmetrical, so far the only paper I have detected with those characteristics is MI5 (

this an orthogonal watermark with a symmetrical paper wire, direction of paper vertical!



As far as I can see it is a 30c MI 2 or Austriaco! 1937 printings! The heart-to-heart distance between 2 suns horizontally should be 16mm instead of 17.5mm...

So far all the brown fibers are in papers supplied by Wiggins Teape from England!

Quite a surprise it is to find brown fibers in other papers as well!
