Belgium out of the closet!

Only a few Belgian definitives series have been studied properly:

the King Baldwin series designed by Elström or by Velghe or the King Leopold desgined by Maurice Poortman.

And of course the Birds designed by André Buzin!

Apart from that hardly anyone had bothered to go past the listings in the Belgian OCB Dealers Catalogue.

Does that mean there is no adventure???

Or is like here when they say the Ovalo's are boring????

Thanksm to the eminent book on the Master Engraver Jean de Bast written by Jacques Stes we know that the King Albert with cap [1931] had been engraved in one blow excluding the value!

This should mean that all values have the above in common!

To my surprise that assumption is not true!!

As all but one value was issued by 15.06.1931, one denomination was issued in 1932 on June, the 1st! That was the 2,50 Fr.
