Hola, estaba con este sello y queria saber que opinan, les muestro:




Se puede decir que los dos sellos de la derecha son "sobre papel azulado" ??
(VK 913b / GJ 1293a)

Yo creo que si, pero como no es "azulado" en el 100% del sello, esta en una zona gris...

Hola, bueno dejando de lado los chistes contra Luis, yo creo que el tono azulado viene de la impresión, no de un trabajo de la bencina sobre el sello, acá Rein me dejó un par de ideas que me gustan:

in photogravure the superfluous ink gets wiped off by a doctor's blade [racleta]. When the racleta is defective the ink stays on the cylinder. The other possibliity is that during the etching parts of the design were etched that did not need etching. You can often tell that by the screened areas just around the stamp design near the perforation.... These areas ought not to be there! In between two stamps the white area often gets lacquered on the cylinder before etching - the lacquer stops the etching acid to reach the metal [copper].

Ahora si no es el "papel azulado" mi pregunta cambia:

A que le llamamos Papel Azulado? a un papel que viene con un tono azulado? o cuando la racleta está gastada y queda un remante de tinta en el cilindro, bien desparramada por la racleta,
y que al volver a pasar deja un tono azulado en este caso sobre el papel?

I have found similar stamps in my collection and it certainly looks like the doctor's blade being the culprit!

This stamp is not just interesting because of its bad wiping off the superfluous ink!

The Zárate paper has two different positions! BTW, the paper wire is asymmetrical! The watermark as all Zárates is orthogonal!
