The following cover makes me pose two questions:

1. How small is the town Cruz Chica? I haven't come across this postmark elsewhere.
2. Does anyone have additional specimens like this 1p1E, with a splatter of blue dots covering the entire stamp?

This cover, like all others censored during WW II, shows some history. May 10 1940 is the day of the German invasion of most of France. This cover was postmarked April 13, 1940 and bears French military censorship.

Two covers with San Martin stamps

These are always a good find. The covers are dated November and December of 1935. The earliest possible use is October 1, and the latest December 31. The San Martin values were demonetized for 1936 and thereafter.

A cover from 1939 with the 5c 'cara fea'

...and with a 1 peso stamp with the plates printed in reverse order.

A cover with 50c1E4s

This stamp was printed with a distinctive deep red color.

Here is a one peso with limits cover.





The 40c received very little use in 1937 and even less use in 1936.

The 30c clay paper on cover

This stamp is somewhat rare and always a good find on cover. This first cover bears only clay stamps: the 10cBR and the 1 peso are also clay paper stamps.









This 2 peso cover has a 30c clay stamp late in use (1945).











This philatelic cover from 1958 also bears a 30c clay stamp.



Here is the receipt for the stamps sent with this envelope to a collector.

The 40c clay with dark colors of 1948

Although it is not clear from these images, the 40c stamps on these covers are the 40c clay with dark colors of 1948. When viewed at an angle these stamps are shiny.









The 25cCL-SO and the 50cCL2B-SO on cover

This 25c stamp was only issued with the "Servicio Oficial" overprint. This paper is very thick and proved difficult to perforate correctly.







The 50c clay stamp issued on the last clay paper is a very thin and very shiny stamp. This is also not a common stamp.

20cLC repeating plate variety on cover

I have shown this plate variety before but did not know until I came across this strip that the variety repeat in a way that is consistent with a 5 horizontal by 2 vertical matrix of 10 stamps used to populate the plate.

Range of 20cLC covers

These first two are from 1945 and could be 1E3b or NGR. NGR is the most likely paper.

To Palestine, now Israel, a rare destination.





To Sweden.



These are from 1951 and most likely are 1L1.

2p cover from July 1937 to Sweden

These are always good finds. The 2p stamps from 1936 (1E1) and 1937 (can be 1E2 but most often is 1E1) are not common stamps off cover and especially mint.







2p on FDC covers from 1946 and 1947

The commemorative stamps on these covers are less sought out than the 2 pesos stamps used to get the covers to their respective destinations.





The second FDC most likely has been posted with a 2pNGR given the grayish look of the paper.

5p on 1946 cover to England

These 5 pesos stamps are poorly centered. Although the 5p1E4 saw use mostly in 1940, by the colors of this stamp and the poor centering, I am guessing these are 1E4s.













5pNGR on large 1947 envelope to the U.S.

The colors on this stamp are unique to the NGR printing. The date is also consistent with that of the NGR printing. This is a full page envelope.
