Doublesided coating!? - Tizado engomado??

What would be the use of stamp paper that has been coated on both sides????

It looks like we may see such paper used for several definitives of Argentina!

Rein,
Today I´m too lazy as to get these stanps and examine them. Is paper fluorescent both sides?

I will to-morrow examine them, but the same phenomenon can be seen with the Sopal Artisan&Culturas!

It´s quire prbable!!! On Tuesday I´ll talk with the paper buyer of Correo Argentino and ask him if yuo are right. I´m nor sure he has a response.

white fluorescent on both sides although the front is mostly hidden by the print, the backs are clearly OBA!

Excume, I forgoet your questiom about doublesided coating. I spoke with Mr. Onetto, Correo Argentono official in charge of paper puechasing, who told me nor Sopal neither Tullis papers are double coated. Saludos,

as to Tullis Russell I do agree! But SOPAL has a ""coating" at the gummed side!!! Did you have a look yourselve??? have you noticed the phenomenon I have described and depicted???

Officially, I mean according to specifications, Sopal paper should had only one side coating. If manufacturer added the coating you are talking about it bwas unknown when buying it, Saludos,

The Portugal 1910 definitives with King Manuel II had been printed in typography on coated paper [front] that also had the back, the gummed side coated:
