Stinnes paper used in 1942!

The existence of the "dutch paper Estrada" is fully accepted today, to the delight of the dealers who might have found them in stock, and are selling mint ones well over u$s 100 a piece...
... another good reason to check our albums again.

Nestor, te felicito por tener esta pieza en tus manos, es muy raro hallarlo mint como usado, y ademas para estudiar las caracteristicas que tiene este papel que salio en el 42, si no se encontro otro sello con este papel despues de este Estrada, estamos ante la ultima salida de este papel.....espero tenerlo mas adelante ya que lo compre por la base en la exposicion de VGB, felicitaciones Nestor....y por supuesto saludos a Rein.....

Nestor, I congratulate you for having this piece in your hands is very rare to find mint and used, and also to study the features that this paper came out in 42, if not found another seal with this role after the Estrada we are at the last exit of this paper I hope to have later ..... and buy it by the base of the exposure of VGB, Nestor congratulations .... and of course greetings to Rein .....

By the way, concerning Estrada with Dutch paper let me tell you that some 25 years ago, acting as auctio9neer in my club, SOFIRA, i sold a whole mint sheet of papel "holandés". I remember quite well that I advised the audience of the rarity of this piece but nobody cared and it was sold by a low price. Some 3 or 4 years ago a mint block of 4 appeared in our auction, which we bought among four members to get one stamp each. The one I got comes from that purchase. Saludos,

I used the Stinnes/Dutch just to refer to the fact that some still think it was Dutch paper instead of German paper out of the Hillegossen paper mills owned by the Stinnes GmbH.....

Would you rather refer to Stinnes or to Hillegossen??? Stinnes is OK with me, just as we refer to Wiggins Teape instead of to the actual site of the paper mills in Scotland... And we are used to say English paper instead of Scottish!

I`m talking of a discovery some 40 years ago when nobody paid too much attention to papers, specially to commems staps.
On the other hand Germany and the Netherlands are different countries, not regionos of a country like the United Kingdom.

Great! So we should not have much doubt anymore that the previously thought to be Dutch paper has its origin from the German paper mill in Hillegossen! And that since the 1930 large sized commemoratives.......
