The hexagons Italian paper has many "versions" as proved by a friend pf mine who passed away some five years ago, who in one exhibition showed the different appearances of that Italian paper. Some of them looked very much alike the German one because of lack of neatness. I distinguish then because German paper never show neat angles but rounded ones and also the structure of the wire mesh. And for your info Casa de Moneda by that tome acquired a "polishing" machine to "satinizar" paper.
